PURPOSE:To obtain a plastic cylinder with accurate and uniform shape by a method in which the outer circumference of a mandrel is covered with a film cylindrically such that both side ends thereof are lapped up, and said lapped up part in press-welded mutually between the pinch rollers of a pair. CONSTITUTION:The outer circumference of a mandrel is covered with a film 1, and both end edges of the film are mutually lapped up. This lapped up part is caused to pass through the gap between the pinch rollers 9, 9 of a pair and is press-welded mutually. Thus, the objective plastic cylinder may be obtained.
