An ornamental chain is worked to create a different figure. The chain material is compressed in the upper, lower, left and right directrions using a mold (P1, P2, P3 and P4). First, the upper half of the chain is compressed to half-size, and the projecting part is compressed using a mold. The projecting part is compressed a second time from the lateral face. Thus, different figures(a, B) can be given to the upper and lower faces.
