摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain a solid-state image pickup device of an optical filter adhered lamination type and less variation of black levels by providing a transparent resin layer which fills the gap between an optical filter and a transparent cap and whose refractive index is substantially equal to those of an optical filter transparent substrate and the transparent cap. CONSTITUTION:The color filter 14 is adhesion-laminated on a solid-state image pickup element 12, and the gap between the cap 13 made of transparent glass and the color filter 14 is filled with the transparent resin 20 having the refractive index nearly equal to those of the cap and the glass of the color filter 14. The glass interface 15 of the color filter 14 and that 17 of the cap 13 contact the transparent resin having nearly equal refractive index. The light reflected on the surface 19 of the solid-state image pickup element 12, without generating photo reflection at the interface, passes through a complementary color filter 16, the color filter 14, and the transparent resin 20 without reflection, and then advances into the cap 13, thus generating a reflected light only on a glass interface 18. Accordingly, the light is passed through the cap 13 is released.</p>
