PURPOSE:To ensure a smooth shift operation and to improve the operability although a shift fork has a fall while a gear is shifted, by always pressing a coupling sleeve at an outer circumferential position opposite to the center shaft line. CONSTITUTION:If a shift fork 18 falls with the shift of a shift rod having a base 20 fixed through a shaft hole 19, the pawl part 22 of the fork 18 rubs the right inner side surface 15a of a fork groove 15 at a point decided by a rear edge 22a to the axis core line 16 of a coupling sleeve 5. Thus the surface 15a opposite to the line 16 is pressed by the part 22. Therefore the operating power produced by the shift rod can be transmitted to the sleeve 5 with high efficiency despite the fall of the fork 18 owing to the pressure given by the part 22 at the position near the line 16 of the sleeve 5. |
