PURPOSE:To detect clogging of an airless spray nozzle, by providing a floating piece, which is moved in accordance with a flow rate, on the way of a fluid pressure-transfer piping from a fluid transport pump under pressure to the airless spray nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A clogging detector 1 is inserted on the way of a paint pressure- transfer piping 4 from a pair transport pump under pressure 2 to an airless spray nozzle 3, and a paint entrance passage 12 is connected to the pump 2, and an exit passage 13 is connected to the spray nozzle 3. Compressed air is always supplied to the pump 2; and when a voltage is applied to a solenoid valve 8 for spray nozzle and a solenoid valve 10 for detector, the air pressure is applied to the nozzle 13 and a cylinder chamber 22 of the detector 1. Then, the nozzle 3 is opened, and a piston 25 of the detector 1 is pushed forward against a spring 26, and a needle shaft 16 is deflected by a spring 23. A microswitch 32 is turned off or on in accordance with the flow rate of the paint flowed in a detector body 11; and when it is turned on, clogging of the nozzle 3 is discriminated. |
