PURPOSE:To curtail operation time and rationalize measurement by fitting a measuring apparatus proper accommodating a dial gauge in a hole of work and measuring the spot-faced depth with continuous rotation of the apparatus proper. CONSTITUTION:After fixing a dial gauge into holes 12 and 14 of the apparatus proper with a set screw 15, a positioning shaft 13 of the measuring apparatus is fixed in a hole 20 of a master 19 and steady positioning is made of a seat surface 21 and a locating surface 22 of the master 19. Next a ''zero'' setting of the dial gauge while adjusting a deviation of a measuring stylus 10. After these operations, continuous measurements are conducted of depths of spot-facing with the dial gauge while rotating the measuring stylus 10 on the spot-faced surface of the work. |
