PURPOSE:To reduce dimensional shift caused by thermal expansion, by arranging a discharge electrode of which the mold part is formed of ceramics and a recording body in opposed relation facing each other so as to leave a definite interval therebetween while applying voltage to the discharge electrode corresponding to a recording signal. CONSTITUTION:A recording head 2 with a multi-stylus 1 formed by arranging a large number of needle electrodes as discharge electrodes and a dielectric drum 3 as a recording body are arranged in opposed relation to each other through a guide roller 4 so as to leave a minute gap 5 therebetween. In the head 2, each terminal 6 of the multi-stylus 1 is respectively connected to a drive circuit and signal voltage corresponding to a recording signal is selectively supplied thereto. The mold part of each noddle electrode 1 controlling the dimensional accuracy of the gap 5 is formed of a dense ceramic sintered body, for eample, a dense alumina sintered body. Therefore, the coefficient of thermal expansion of the whole head 2 is reduced to 1.0X10<-5>1 deg.C or less. |
