PURPOSE:To eliminate a stage for heat treating a synthesized product and to manufacture easily TSZ crystalline aluminosilicate at a low cost by reducing the amount of alkali which is present in an aqueous reactive mixture as a starting material in excess with respect to alumina so as to satisfy specified relation. CONSTITUTION:TSZ crystalline aluminosilicate having a composition represented by a formula M2/nO-Al2O3-SiO2-H2O [where M is the cation of a I or II group metal, and (n) is the valence of M] and showing a specified X-ray diffraction pattern in the form of powder is manufactured by heating an aqueous reactive mixture consisting of practically inorg. materials at the crystallization temp. At this time, relation represented by equation I (expression II is the molar ratio of SiO2/Al2O3 in the reactive mixture, and expression III is the molar ratio of SiO2/Al2O3 in the resulting crystalline aluminosilicate) is established by adjusting the amount of alkali in the reactive mixture so as to make the molar ratio of M2/nO/SiO2 0.01-0.1.
