PURPOSE:To make clear the boundary between different-color areas and to improve the quality of color print by making a fine-distance shift in latent image position on electrostatic recording paper during color printing. CONSTITUTION:Latent images Q1 and Q2 of the inverted signal R' of the red video signal R of a CRT 1, and they are developed with toner in cyan and fixed. The latent image of an inverted signal G' for green is shifted slightly from the images Q, etc. For this purpose, the deflecting device for the raster of the CRT is adjusted to make both a horizontal and a vertical slight shift. Then, a latent image Q3' is developed with magenta toner and fixed. Further, a latent image for a picture by an inverted signal B' for blue is also formed while shifted slightly, and the image is developed thereupon with yellow toner and fixed. Thus, toner particles in cyan, magenta, and yellow are present together where the latent image boundaries shift to form a black part. Therefore, the bleeding of colors is reduced to obtain a clear picture. |
