1330094 Test pack for bilirubin BOEHRINGER MANNHEIM GmbH 2 March 1972 [5 March 1971] 9794/72 Heading B1X A test pack for the determination of total bilirubin comprises, 2,4-dichtoro-, 2,5-dichloro- or 2-chloro-4-nitro-phenyl diazonium chloride and an alkyl-phenol polyethylene oxide. The diazonium compound may be the solid salt; the polyethylene oxide may be dissolved in HCl, H 2 SO 4 or H 3 PO 4 . Alternatively the components and the acid may be mixed, but the storage stability is thereby reduced. The composition may also contain a stabiliser for the diazonium salt. In use, a serum sample is added to a known volume of reagent and the extinction measured at 546 nm when the end valve is reached. |
