PURPOSE:To widen the range of speed change ratio which can be used as far as possible by allowing the range of speed change ratio which can be used actually in each stepless speed change gear to be learnen and controlling the speed change ratio within the range of speed change ratio which is obtained through learning. CONSTITUTION:The aimed speed change ratio (io) is searched from a speed change ratio table on the basis of throttle opening degree TH and car speed V. Then, the max. value (imax) and the min. value (imin) of the range of speed change ratio and the actual speed change ratio (ir) are compared, and correction operation is peformed so that the range of speed change ratio is spread. The max. value (imax) and the min. value (imin) are calculated according to the preceding routine, and the value stored in a prescribed RAM is used. When value is not stored in the prescribed RAM, the max. value and the min. value of the range of speed change ratio which are the standard values on designing and are stored in ROM are used. |
