Title compds. (I; R1=vanillyl, naphthyl, pyridil, α-to-copheryl), used as antiulcers, were prepd. by the reaction of 4-guanidinomethylohexane carboxylic acid or its reactive derivs. and III. In an example, a suspension of 11.8g (E)-4-guanidinomethylcyclohexane carboxylic acid hydrochloride, 17.2g vitamin E and 12.4g dicyclohexylcarboimide in 150ml pyridine was stirred at room temp for 30min. The reactant was distilled and dried, treated with 0.1N 200ml and 100ml ethylacetate for 1 hr. vitamin E (E)-4-guanidinomethylcyclo-hexanecarboxylate hydrochloride(16.1g) was obtained.
