PURPOSE:To restrict vibration during driving operation and eliminate or reduce power generating members by fixing a leaf spring which is always upwardly energized, to the bottom face of piston and mounting a rotary shaft on a cam which is brought in contact with said leaf spring, in an engine. CONSTITUTION:A piston 21 on which piston rings (r) are fitted, is slidably fitted in the inner surface of a cylinder (c), on the outer periphery of which a number of air cooling fins (f) are projectingly provided. On the bottom face of the piston 21 is fixed a leaf spring 22, which is extendedly provided in the lower inside of the cylinder (c) with its end parts being wound around stoppers 23 fitted to a case body V, and upwardly energized at all times. A rotary shaft 24 is rotatably supported by the case body V through bearings (d), and the peripheral surface of a cam 25 which is connected to a flange nearly to the center of the rotary shaft 24, is directly brought in contact with the bottom face of the leaf spring 22. Thereby vibration can be restricted while the number of used members can be reduced without need for using the method of mutual connection between a connecting rod, a crank arm, and a crank shaft, as for the means of transmitting the reciprocating motion of the piston 21. |
