<p>A reusable jack leg for raising and lowering containers includes two fixings 2 by which the jack leg 1 may be fixed to a container, each fixing including a shank 5 having a head 6 for mating with an oval hole provided in standard containers. The fixings are attached to the container by inserting the heads through the holes and rotating them through 90 DEG . The jack leg is attached to the fixings by projections 11 insertable in sleeves 3 and secured by pins 7 which pass through apertures 9 and 12 in the sleeves and projections respectively. <IMAGE></p> |
