PURPOSE:To achieve a decoration excellent in the wear resistance, resistance to solvents and anti-weathering economically by using an ink containing a sublimating dye or a hot-melt shifting dye to shift the dye by heat utilizing a preheating following the printing of a pattern or the like on the surface of a molding immediately after a molding is completed. CONSTITUTION:A pattern, character, diagram or the like is printed on the surface of a plastic molding (e.g. polyethylene terephthalate, polyamide resin and acrylic resin) 1 made with an injection molding machine 2 using an ink 12 containing a sublimating dye or a hot-melt shifting dye before being discharged from dies 3 and 5 after completion of molding. Then, the dye in the ink is sublimated utilizing a remaining heat after the molding and preferably heat in the drying process after the printing to permeate the dye into the molding. |
