PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of gap at the edge of seal face by providing a projecting edge contactable tightly with the outer edge section upon pressure contact on the edge of seal face in a hollow seal section with which the outer edge section adjoining to the corner section of chassis opening edge will pressure contact. CONSTITUTION:The hollow seal section 12 of a weather strip 11 is molded integrally with a base section 13 to be fitted in the door sash, where the coupling root section 14 with the base section 13 has diameter (a) while the leading edge side has diameter beta larger than alpha. Consequently the seal face 15 formed at the tip of hollow seal section 12 has cross-section longer than the root section 14 while the corner section of chassis opening edge will contact against predetermined position (L) on the seal face 15 to pressure contact one side 15a against the outer edge of chassis opening edge while the other side against the circumferential section. A projecting edge 17 contactable tightly against the outer edge is provided at the end edge pressure contacting against the outer edge section of one side 15a to prevent occurrence of gap at the edge. |
