PURPOSE:To cause the printed pattern of a decorated sheet to synchronize exactly with the unevenness on a molded product by a method in which at the preliminarily molding of the decorated sheet for a mold, the decorated sheet is uniformly heated and the heated sheet is set in the mold as it is without transferring said sheet. CONSTITUTION:When the mark 21 of the decorated sheet 14 transferred onto a female mold 2 is detected by a sensor 22, the motor 18 driving a wind-up roller 16 is stopped by a controlling device, and the decorated sheet 14 is kept on the female mold 2. The decorated sheet 14 is clamped by a frame member 23, and a radiation heater 25 is moved onto the decorated sheet, operating a cylinder 24, whereby the decorated sheet 14 is softened. Next, the softened sheet 14 is adsorbed on the cavity surface of the female mold 2 by vacuum suction from the air hole of the female mold 2, and preliminarily molding is carried out. After the preliminarily molding has been finished, a male mold is lowered and combined with the female mold 2. Simultaneously, when molten resin is injected into the cavity of the mold from an injection cylinder 13, the decorated sheet 14 adhers by itself to the injected resin in the cavity or the ink of the decorated sheet is transferred onto the injected resin. |
