PURPOSE:To enable automatic follow-up to change of input/output device constitution by reading information relating to a file used by faulty job from an input/ output device that holds information relating to the file, and resuming execution of the faulty job. CONSTITUTION:A switching controlling device 3 that detected fault of a CPU1 reports the fault of the CPU to a CPU2. When a monitor program of the CPU2 knows, on reference to a table, that jog J1 and job J5 of the CPU1 are to be backed up, it sends a command to the switching controlling device 3 to change I/O group G1 to the CPU2. The switching controlling device 3 switches I/O51 and I/O53 to the CPU2. On receiving report of completion of switching, a monitor program of the CPU2 reads out a table from I/O51 and I/O53, and reads out job resuming information regarding to J1 and J5, and resumes the job J1 and J5. |
