PURPOSE:To improve the distribution efficiency of data in a data highway greatly and facilitate the adaption and extension of a system by connecting plural data highways through an intelligent station equipped with terminal functions and a central control function. CONSTITUTION:Two data highway bodies 1 and 11 are coupled together through the intelligent station 21. The station 21 functions as the central control system of the local data highway body 11. Further, the station functions as a terminal to the central data highway body 1 and also serves as the representative station of the local data highway body 11 to control the data transfer between both data highways. For example, when a method of adding an addressee address to data to be sent out of a terminal is employed, data sent from a terminal 13 to a terminal 14 is judged by a station 21 and never sent to the central data highway body 1. Thus, distributed data of all systems are rearranged and integrated. |
