发明名称 FLOPPY DISK DRIVING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a device and simplify the process of adjusting a linear scale by uniting a floppy disk having a disk type semiconductor motor with a DC linear motor, and fitting a detection head to the rotor of the linear motor. CONSTITUTION:The disk type semiconductor motor part consists of three armature coils 9, an 8-pole field magnet 12, position detecting elements 10 provided respectively to the coil 9, etc. The field magnet 12 has eight N and S magnetic poles alternately in the circumferential direction and is fixed on the top surface of a rotor yoke 11 to face a printed wiring board 8. Then, 13 is the DC linear motor having a linear encoder and assembled at a space part where the armature coil group 9 is not arranged to realize size reduction. The linear scale 23 forming the linear encoder is positioned by inserting its one end part into a positioning part 24. The position detecting elements 25 have indexes facing the linear scale 23, and photoelectric elements are arranged facing each other with the both between. The detection head is driven linearly by the linear motor and its position is detected by the linear encoder.
