PURPOSE:To make an efficient magnetic tape file possible with a simple constitution by using a no-signal part prepared in a digital data part to make a digital data signal and sound information, which are recorded on two tracks of a tape, coincident with each other with respect to time. CONSTITUTION:In figure, the digital data signal is indicated by 1, and the sound signal is indicated by 2. Several digital data signals 1 conected closely with one another are collected and connected to one another by dummy data 14, and a data header 15 indicating contents of data is provided before them. One data block 10 is constituted with them and a preamble 11 and a postamble 12 of synchronizing signals. A no-signal recording part 13 of 0.5-1 second is provided between data blocks 10, and boundaries of data blocks 10 are recognized by this part 13. If sound information 2 is longer than the digital data signal 1, the signal of the postamble 12 is recorded continuously until sound information is terminated, thereby making the length of the data block 10 and the length of sound information 2 coincident with each other. |
