PURPOSE:To improve the weldability and the strength and ductility at a high temp. of a structure obtd. by joining an austenitic steel contg. C, Cr and Ni to other member by a deposited metal consisting of C, Si, Mn, P, S, Ni, Cr, Mo, Mg and the balance Fe. CONSTITUTION:An austenitic steel contg., by weight %, <=0.15% C, 13-25% Cr and 8-20% Ni is joined to other member by a deposited metal having the following compsn. to constitute an austenitic welded structure for high temp service. The deposited metal has the compsn. shown as follows by weight %. Said compsn. consists of 0.01-0.15% C, 0.1-1.0% Si, 1.0-3.0% Mn, <=0.03% P, <=0.03% S, 8-20% Ni, 13-25% Cr, 0.4-2.0% Co and 0.002-0.4% Mg and consists of the balance substantially Fe. The compsn. contains further >=1 king of 0.1-3.0% Mo, 0.005-0.2% Nb+Ta, 0.005-1.0% Ti, 0.01-0.2% W, 0.01-0.2% V, 0.02-0.2% N, <=2% Cu and <= 1% RE and the balance consists of Fe according to need. |
