The invention relates to a stop device for the shutterleaf 2 of a window 1. This device consists: - of a support piece 3 provided with means for fixing to the inside of the shutterleaf 2; - of an L-shaped angle bracket 8 pierced with a row of orifices 7 and provided with means for fixing to the reveal 1a of the window 1; - and of an actuating arm 5 in the form of an elbow, articulated at its end 5a about a pivot 4 held in the support piece 3 and provided at its free end 5b with a blocking stud 6 intended to be housed in one of the orifices 7 in the angle bracket 8.
