PURPOSE:To prevent use of a sub-battery prior to that of a main battery by switching by force a switch to use of a main battery in connection with charging operation of plug blades in a small electrical appliance equipped with a sub- battery in addition to a main battery which is usually used. CONSTITUTION:The first and second batteries 26 and 27 are equipped and power supply to a load 16 from batteries 26 and 27 is selected by switching of a switch 24. The switch 24 is returned by force to the first battery 26 in connection with charging operation of plug blades. Thereby, mistake of immediate use of the second battery after charge is prevented so that charged battery is preliminarily kept. For example, when the first switch 24a of the switch 24 is switched, a curved contact 56 of a sliding knob 31 is fit to a concavity 55. When plug blades 44 are projected from a main case 1 for charging, the contact 56 gets over a convexity 57 formed in the concavity 55 of a working lever 54, and the sliding knob 31 is returned to the original position, and the switch 24 is set to the given position. |
