SMOKE DISCHARGING DEVICE IN PLASMA CUTTING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To suck efficiently the waste smoke generated during cutting through the center of a suction hood of which the internal space is partitioned by several sheets of partition plates attached thereto by attaching such hood to a part of a body. CONSTITUTION:Several partition plates 9 spaced at a specified distance (a) are so transversely juxtaposed as to intersect orthogonally to a rail to constitute several partitioned spaces in the space underneath a surface plate 7. A hood 12 is attached via a smoke discharge duct 11 to a dust collector. The hood 12 is movable along with the side face of the plates 9 according to the traveling of a cutter body. Several partition plates 13 for suction ports spaced at the distance (a) equal to the distance (a) between the plates 9 of the plate 7 are perpendicularly attached to the inside of the suction port provided in the hood 12 so that the suction effect of the partition space 14 at the center is made always better than the suction effect in the lateral spaces.
