The razor of the invention comprises: a fixed shaving foil 20 which is curved in the form of a portion of a cylinder; a rotary shaft 50 parallel to the generatrices of the cylinder of the foil; a motor for driving this rotary shaft; a series of identical planar blades 60 which are mutually parallel and secured to the rotary shaft, the direction On normal to the plane of the blades being inclined with respect to the direction Ox of the rotary shaft, and the peripheral edge 63 of the blades moving close to the internal surface of the foil over at least part of the latter.
