PURPOSE:To improve yield by changing automatically the pressure in the oil chamber in the connector part of an outer connecting rod in accordance with the signal obtd. by detecting continuously an inner stroke thereby adjusting the outer load and working smoothly a work. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic source 19 of a control side 52 is connected via a control valve 28 and a solenoid-operated directional control valve 32 to a hydraulic system which applies a working pressure from the hydraulic source 19 on a press machine side 51 provided with an outer ram 3, an outer connecting rod 4, etc. to the oil chamber 8 of a connecting part 5 between the outer ram and the connecting rod thereby controlling the pressure in chamber 8. The attainment of the ram 3 at the bottom dead point is detected with a limit switch 37 and the inner stroke is continuously detected with a sensor 40 in the successing forming process. The pressure in the chamber 8 is automatically varied by operating said valve 28 so as to obtain the outer load set by a controller body 21 in accordance with the signal detected with said sensor, by which the outer load is adjusted. The work of the press is thus smoothly performed and the generation of a defective product is suppressed. |
