PURPOSE:To facilitate easy debugging for an overlaid program by the microprogram control which overlays a microprogram stored in an internal memory means on a part of a control memory means. CONSTITUTION:The value set to an address register 28 for comparison of microprograms is equal to a microprogram stop address. This value is compared with the contents of a register 29 for the microprogram address which is under control by a comparator 30. An AND gate 32 transmits an acknowledge signal to a clock control part 12 in case the microprogram overlaid on an overlay area in a control memory means 11 includes a microprogram stop address (signal line 217 set at ''1'') and the executed address is equal to an address projected to the overlay area (signal line 218 set at ''1''). Thus the clock is discontinued for a microprogram device. After the clock is discontinued, a debug operation is carried out as conventional. |
