PURPOSE:To improve productivity by reducing the number of parts by forming the control rack of a fuel injection pump into plate form and integrally forming rack teeth on one surface and the projection piece for rack pin on the other surface. CONSTITUTION:A fuel injection pump is equipped with a plunger 3, delivery valve 4, tappet roller 10, etc. The control rack 13 engaged with the control pinion of a control sleeve 12 is formed into plate form, and rack teeth 13' on one surface and a projection piece for rack pin 14 on the other surface are formed integrally. Therefore, the number of parts can be reduced, productivity can be improved, and cost can be cut. |
