PURPOSE:To improve mutual registering property of sheets by dispacing a book binding means to a first swinging position every time the sheets are discharged and registered in a tray, and then, returning, and displacing it to a second swinging position when the last sheet is discharged. CONSTITUTION:Sheets from an output unit are sequentially discharged and accumulated on a sheet collecting tray 6 under the condition that the two corresponding right-angled sides are trued up to each other by a registering means. And a book binding means 10 is lolacted at a position 37 in discharging the sheets by a drive means consisting of a motor M3, a rotatable arm 37 and a stabler body depressing lever 34 to set a head 27 and a sheet holding member to the stand-by position, and at a first step swinging position 37' every time the sheets are received and registered so that the sheet is held by the holding member and the head 27 to be returned to the stand-by position. When the last sheet is discharged and registered, the book binding means is set to a second step swinging position to press the head 27 against a reveiving seat 39 for book binding. Thus, the mutual registering property of sheets are improved. |
