PURPOSE:To eliminate an adhesive coating process for reduction of man-hour and at the same time to eliminate the defective exfoliation for improvement of yield, by using a sheet containing the thermosetting resin impregnated into fabric glass as a gap material. CONSTITUTION:A sheet 10 contains the thermosetting resin such as heat-welding type epoxy resin impregnated into a belt-shaped glass fabric which is woven into a cloth form. Such sheet 10 is used as a gap material. Then sheets 10 and 12 are held between a pair of C type ferrite cores 11A and 11B, and these sheets and cores are adhered together with pressure and heat. Thus a head core 13 having a gap G is obtained. In such a way, the man-hour is decreased and at the same time the defective exfoliation is eliminated. Thus the yield is improved for production of magnetic heads. |
