A method for ripening and manufacturing apples involves stuffing the inside of the apple with a suitable amount of natural fruit and nuts, such as pine nuts, walnuts and peanuts. Without peeling and by keeping the apple's original shape, the fruit can be ripened fully at an adequate pressure and temperature, and thus merchandised as a general dessert or health food. Ripening will occur at 1.5-2 atmospheric pressure, a temperature of 95-105≦̸C for a period of 2 hrous and a half to 3 hours. |
