PURPOSE:To enable combustion to be efficiently performed, by utilizing a surplus amount of heat in a radiator so as to introduce air into a cylinder as the heated and humidified air through a medium impregnated with hot water, in the case of the heated and humidified air for assisting the combustion of an internal-combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:A water tank 2 is connected to one side face of a radiator 1, and an upper end 4 of an infiltrating core-shaped medium 3 immersed in bottom water in the tank is held to a bottom opening 9 of a three-way joint 8 introducing air into a cleaner 7 from an air intake port 6 through the inside of a hose 5, utilizing a surplus amount of heat in high temperature cooling water to the radiator 1 so as to heat water. This heated water, with which the medium 3 is impregnated to its upper end, generates heated and humidified air by an air flow from the air intake port 6 to be introduced into a cylinder for assisting combustion. In this way, fuel saving and purification of exhaust gas can be promoted by performing efficient combustion. |
