PURPOSE:To avoid to flow team in the group of tubes and condensed liquid dropping around the tubes into reverse directions and prevent the deterioration of effeciency of the lower cooling tubes by a method wherein a tray, introducing the condenced liquid to the lower part of the group of tubes, and a gas extracting tube are arranged at the central lower part of the group of tubes so as to be closed to each other. CONSTITUTION:Steam flows from the outside of the group 21 of tubes toward the gas extracting tube through the group of tubes 21 as shown by arrow signs while all of the condensed liquid drips, generated by the flow of steam, drop into the liquid receiving parts 20a of the trays 20 and are collected into the central tray 20b after flowing along the upper surface thereof. Then, the drips are guided by the trays 20b to tube support plates 10, 11, thereafter, are guide to the outside of the lower group of the tubes 21 along guides 20c attached to the tube support plates 10, 11 and drop to the bottom of a main body 8. Thus, the flow of the steam will never by precluded by the dropping of the liquid drips and much amount of the condensed liquid drips, generated at the upper group of the tubes 21, will never fall onto the lower group of tubes 21, therefore, the cooling efficiency may be improved remarkably. |
