摘要 PURPOSE:To wholly absorb fuel which is injected during acceleration, during the period of a suction stroke and improve the response of acceleration by making an injection pressure regulating device an injection-pressure variable type and indicating the increase in injection pressure by means of an electronic control circuit. CONSTITUTION:An electronic control circuit 12 controls the injection timing and the fuel injection time of an injection valve 6 based on the signal of a rotation angle sensor 13, while also controlling a solenoid valve 9c by means of signals from a throttle opening sensor 14 and the rotation angle sensor 13. It also selects either a pressure regulating valve 9A which sets a fuel pressure from a fuel pump 7 low, or a pressure regulating valve 9B which sets said fuel pressure high. Both of the pressure regulating valves 9A, 9B are connected to a surge tank 4 through a pipe 4A, to maintain the difference between suction pressure and injection pressure constant. Thereby, fuel injected during acceleration is wholly absorbed during the period of suction stroke, improving response at the time of acceleration, improving fuel consumption without the deposit of fuel on a pipe wall, and reducing HC emission.
