PURPOSE:To improve the rise-up characteristics of the machine upon starting by a method wherein the setting of a thermostat is changed to the increasing tendency of capacity only for a predetermined period of time, in which room temperature arrives at a set value and a compressor is stopped, upon starting the operation of the machine. CONSTITUTION:When the operation of the air-conditioning machine is started by an operation/stop switch 1, a time elapse from the operation starting time is measured by an operation time measuring circuit 7. Simultaneously, the room temperature of a room to be air-conditioned is measured by a room temperature measuring circuit 2, comparation of the room temperature with a set temperature, set by a temperature set means 3 operated by an user, is effected by an operation/stop decision circuit 5 and operation/stop of the compressor is decided. Then, the operations of the compressor 10 and the fan 11 are started by an operation/stop switch circuit 6. An operation starting signal is inputted into a thermoslide decision circuit 8 and the set temperature of the thermostat is increased by 2 deg through a thermoslide effecting circuit 9. Here, when the time elapse, being measured by an operation time measuring circuit 7, has elapsed a predetermined time, the set temperature of the thermostat is returned to the set temperature set by the user at first. |
