PURPOSE:To ensure the even intermittence of a broken line, a chain line, etc. regardless of the tilt of these lines by using a signal calculated based on the tilt of a segment, i.e., the changing factor of the segment in the short axis direction to control the count-up of a texture counter. CONSTITUTION:The changing factor X in the short axis direction of a segment held by a register 1 is supplied to a table 10 consisting of an ROM, etc. The table 10 stores the value calculated previously by an equation. A register 12 holds the output of an adder 11 for each clock. In this case, the count-up of a texture counter 8 is discontinued by the carry output of the adder 11. In such a way, the count-up of the counter 8 can be stopped for each count-up of an address counter. Thus it is possible to draw the broken and chain lines regardless of the tilt of a segment. |
