PURPOSE:To aim at facilitating the assembly and maintenance of a speed change gear having parallel shafts and as well as making lightweight thereof, by providing solenoids for driving support means for respective gears in an intermediate gear train. CONSTITUTION:Input and output shafts 15, 16 parallel with each other are secured to a casing 56, gears 19-22 are fitted onto the input shaft gear 15 to which a disc 23 is also secured. Further gears 36-39 are loosely fitted onto the output shaft 16, and projections 36a-39a prevent the gears 36-39 from rotating with respect to each other. When one of selection gears 42, 46-48 is driven, both gear trains are engaged together through one of intermediate gears 41, 49- 51. Solenoids for driving the selection levers each integrally incorporated with armatures are secured in the casing. |
