PURPOSE:To make the assembly and maintenance of a printing head easier by supporting pivotally armatures between an inner yoke and an outer yoke wound with solenoid coil in a wire dot printer. CONSTITUTION:Many outer yokes 1c wound with solenoid coils 2 are arranged annularly on the periphery of an inner yoke 1b, and resinous armatures 4 are pivotally supported at rocking support points 3d. L-shaped printing wires 7 are elastically supported between an elastic material 5 above the armatures 4 and the front frame 6. When the solenoids 2 are excited, the armature 5 is turned, the elastic piece 5d of the elastic material 5 is driven, and printing is made by the wires 7. The needs for brazing the printing wires, armatures, and plate spring can thus be eliminated, the structure of the head can be simplified, and the assembly and maintenance of the head can be made easier. Compact printing head can be obtained. |
