CORRECTION CIRCUIT OF COLOR DIFFERENCE SIGNAL

PURPOSE:To obtain completely corrected color difference signals by making a digital color difference signal as address data, and obtaining required color difference signal output data by using ROM to eliminate all color errors contained in the color difference signals. CONSTITUTION:Constant-fold (K-fold) of an (B-Y)i signal is added to a color difference signal (R-Y)i, and digital color difference signals (R-Y)c are formed, which are used as address data of ROM201. When (R-Y)c and (B-Y)i are given to ROMs 201 and 202 respectively as address data, output data (R-Y)o and (B-Y)o in correspondence to the address data are extracted. These output data can be computed experimentally and logically from photoelectric conversion characteristics of an image pickup device and spectrum characteristics of a filter and written in ROMs 201 and 202 beforehand.
