PURPOSE:To easily prevent radio interference by arranging an oscillator within a reflection shield provided to the internal cavity of cylindrical body consisting of an insulation material and by also arranging a sealed case for light emission at the upper part. CONSTITUTION:A reflection shield plate 16 is provided to the internal cavity 12 of a cylindrical body 11 made of an insulation material 11 and a high frequency oscillator 15 having an induction coil 14 is also arranged in said plate. The upper part of oscillator 15 is filled with metal vapor such as silver, etc. and anactive gas and a transmissive sealed case 17 loading a phosphor material 18 and mesh 19 for preventing radio interference is arranged at the upper part 17a, thereby forming an electrode-less discharge lamp. An induced magnetic field is generated in the coil 14 with the oscillator 15, moreover electric field is also generated, it is then guided to the case 17 through the reflection shield 16 for emission of light. Accordingly, loading of mesh 19 can be done easily and cooling effect can be enhanced by an air hole 21. |
