PURPOSE:To perform reliable cut-off and edge preparation by forming a recessed section on one side or both sides of a metal saw and by edge preparing with the use of a cutter formed by means of fitting an angle cutter on this recessed section or sections. CONSTITUTION:On the side face of a metal saw 2, a recessed section 4 is formed, in which is fitted an angle cutter 3 of a diameter smaller than that of the metal saw 2 to form a cutter whose working face is nearly L-shaped. The dimension of the cutter is set so that the metal saw 2 can work on the external surface 10 of a pipe 9 through its internal circumferential face 11, and the dimension of the angle cutter 3 is set to provide a groove form required for the end face formed by cutting-off the pipe 9. Therefore, a favorable groove section 13 can be obtained. |
