PURPOSE:To arrange a bumper body at a set level onto a vehicle body panel, by engaging a locating pin attached to the rear section of the bumper body, in a through-hole formed in the surface of the panel. CONSTITUTION:A locating pin 11 attached to the rear surface of a bumper body 1, is engaged in a through-hole 12 which is formed in a vehicle body panel 4 at a position opposed to the bumper body 11, and therefore, the bumper body 1 is positioned onto the vehicle panel 4. With such a structure that a bumper stay 2 is secured to the side surface of a vehicle body side member 3, the bumper body 1 may be always positioned at a designed level on the vehicle body panel 4 even though an error in the coupling between the vehicle body side member 3 and the vehicle body panel 4 takes place. |
