PURPOSE:To inform telephone charge information to a user of a public telephone set before start of talking by reading and displaying the telephone charge information at each address from a memory in the public telephone set through the operation of a talking charge display switch and dial. CONSTITUTION:A ''T'' switch 27 is provided to the public telephone set as a talking charge display switch and when the switch is operated, a CPU7 detects the operation via an input/output circuit 5a, an address area number is detected by dial information operated by a keyboard 17, number of seconds to each area to an address area number is obtained from an EPROM24 by the table key search method or the like and the information converted into the talking charge is displayed (19). When the ''T'' switch 27 is operated, since no dial signal transmitted, the talking charge is confirmed without actual calling. |
