PURPOSE:To save material and to reduce processing man-hour by manufacturing separately a mandrel bearing-part and a mandrel main-body having a mandrel base-part on/to which said bearing part is mounted and fixed and melt-sticking the bearing part to the base part by liquid-phase diffusion welding. CONSTITUTION:A mandrel bearing-part 9 and a mandrel main-body 4'' having a mandrel base-part 10 on/to which the bearing part 9 is mounted and fixed, are separately manufactured. And the part 9 is tightly joined to the base part 10 through a diffusion-welding layer 14 formed by liquid-phase diffusion welding, to manufacture a hollow die 2 for extrusion.
