PURPOSE:To decrease the overhead for data conversion by inverting the order of address arrangement of a data for 2-byte's share succeeding to an even number address on a virtual address arranged with the data. CONSTITUTION:A data bus 4 designating a storage capacity unit amount to be converted is connected to an address exchange device 2 and when the address for the designation appears at an address bus 1, the device 2 allows the bus 4 to attain read/write according to a read/wire line 8. If the address data on the bus 1 is a predetermined virtual address, it is given to an address line 3 to enable chip select (5), allowing an address data exchanged in a storage device 6 to be read/written to a data bus 7 according to the line 8. Thus, the mounting memory capacity is saved. |
