PURPOSE:A mildewcide showing synergistically growth inhibitory effect on various mildews, obtained by combining three substances of 2-(4-thiazolyl)benzimidazole, a long-chain alkyldimethylbenzylammonium salt, and a terpene alcohol. CONSTITUTION:A mildewcide obtained by combining (A) 2-(4-thiazolyl)benzimidazole with (B) a long-chain alkyldimethylbenzylammonium[preferably compound shown by the formula I (R is 8-22C alkyl; X is halogen)] in a weight ratio of preferably A:B=4:1-4, and further with (C) terpene alcohol, cyclic terpene alcohol, or its derivative (e.g., linalool, termineol, geraniol, etc.). Showing wide mildewproofing spectrum by combination of three substances. |
