The invention relates to a plant for separating the components of a liquid mixture from each other, the components having closely adjacent boiling points and/or forming azeotropes and being fed to at least one distillation column for enrichment of one or more components and the remaining components being conducted away. The object underlying the invention comprises designing the abovementioned plant in such a manner that by the use of a pervaporator, not only can highly pure solutions of individual components be prepared in a single procedure, but also the amount of heat required in the process can be obtained as effectively as possible from sources in the process itself. The solution is characterised in that the enriched component(s) from the distillation column is(are) fed to a pervaporator, by means of heat exchange the enriched component supplies heat to the feed stream in the pervaporator, the component stream leaving the pervaporator is subjected to a complete condensation, at least a part-stream is withdrawn from the condensate and fed to the pervaporator as a feed stream and this feed stream is then concentrated by pervaporation.
