PURPOSE:To improve the waveform accuracy of a sweep signal by computing the sweep angle and distance to determine X and Y components in the sweep display directly in a digital sweep generator used for a radar information display unit. CONSTITUTION:A sweep display angle theta 101 is inputted into a converter section 11 to be converted into sintheta. Receiving a clock pulse 103, the sweep origin and the sweep distance (r) are inputted into a sweep distance generating section 21. Then, (x) component=r.sintheta is determined with a multiplier 22 from sintheta from the converter section 11 and the distance (r) from the distance generating section 21 and a waveform signal is outputted from an A/D converter 13. The r.sintheta is multiplied at each fixed cycle according to the clock pulse 103. Likewise, (y) component=r.costheta is determined. This enables the multiplication of the sintheta corresponding to the sweep display of the angle theta and the sweep distance (r) increasing at a fixed rate thereby yielding a sweep signal with a better waveform accuracy. |
