NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula I (R1 is lower alkyl; R2 is direct bond, =CH2, =CH-OH, or group shown by the formula II). EXAMPLE:Oxalato[2-(1-aminoethyl)pyridine]platinum(II). USE:An antitumor active substance. Having low toxicity, high water solubility, and high remedying effect. PREPARATION:For example, platinum(II) potassium chloride is reacted with 2-(1-aminoethyl)pyridine to give dichloro[2-( 1-aminoethyl )pyridine]platinum(II), which is reacted with silver nitrate to give dinitrato [2-(1-aminoethyl)pyridine] platinum(II), which is reacted with a dicarboxylic acid.
